Short Term Serviced Accommodation (Temporary Accommodation)

Serviced Accommodation is a great alternative to hotels or Airbnb and let you stay at the location of your choice, secure and safe, while enjoying high quality self-catering accommodation. A serviced apartment allows you greater privacy and comfort and allows you to relax and become acclimatised to living in London or the UK. The prices vary from location and quality from a good executive standard to opulent penthouse accommodation and provides excellent value for money and more space when compared with similar specification hotels.

 

The number of UK serviced apartments in London and the UK continues to grow rapidly, with more and more cities and towns having temporary serviced apartments as an alternative to traditional hotels. We demand a certain level of quality and facilities for our clients and many of our properties are pet friendly, have cable or satellite television, fast broadband and housekeeping services. Many of our Serviced Accommodation properties are suitable for quarantine purposes.

 

 

Orientation Tour

Before we begin a rental search we highly recommend an orientation tour as it’s a great way for you to look and see different locations and view sample quality properties within your budget and agreed criteria. Our clients often change their criteria once they view sample areas and properties.

 

We then use this feedback to fine tune your property viewing days.  In addition, if you have children, we can include visits to suitable schools too. For many of our clients this is a fantastic introduction to London or the UK. It also means you have a better idea of where to choose to live before committing to an area. You will be taken around by our Citrus Relocation local agent who knows the area and will give you great advice on property, leisure, parks and healthcare facilities

 

Rental Property Search

We understand that finding a new rental home in the UK is one of the most important aspects of your relocation. You will also want to understand what areas works best for your needs.  We will advise you on rental budgets and locations that work best for you. We cover London and the whole of the UK and will assign the best relocation consultant for the area you are searching in. They will be able to point out transport connections, shopping facilities as well as local gyms and parks and restaurants.

 

Your relocation consultant will arrange a list of property viewings which accurately match the criteria agreed with you. They will provide advice to you on each property and give their opinion on the advertised rent. Once you have chosen a property, we will negotiate the terms of your offer and then manage the move in process keeping you fully informed throughout. We will be by your side throughout and have a wealth of experience to make your move as easy as possible.

 

Educational Support

Like any parent you will be concerned about finding a good nursery or school for your children. Following an initial discussion and analysis, suitable nursery or school options would be identified which could be in the UK state or private independent sector.  Citrus will liaise with the local education authorities as well as the preferred schools to check availability of places and support you with a nursery or school search.

 

This will be covered by your Citrus allocated personal education adviser.

Citrus will provide advice and statistics on the performance of the schools as well as the relevant prospectus with details of how to gain entrance and the relevant admission procedures.

 

We will arrange visits to schools and can accompany you on those visits. We cover all school years from nursery/kindergarten through to help with applying for university places. Our school search covers all areas and types of schools from nursery kindergarten to University assistance. We can help with entrance examinations preparation for some of the finest schools in the United Kingdom.

 

Settling in services

As well as finding a home in the UK there are additional support services, settling in services, which we can offer you  to help get you settled into your new lives in UK as quickly and effortlessly as possible. This can include opening a UK bank account, information on registering with a local doctor, advice on getting broadband set up and renting furniture for example.

 

House buying

You may decide that after an initial period of living in the UK that you wish to purchase a home here.  Our approach to  house buying is straightforward and transparent.
